Your opportunity to inspire current students

24 May 2018

NBS Alumni Fellows 2016NTU's Alumni Fellowship Programme continues to flourish and has now been expanded across the University's schools. With over 850 Alumni Fellows taking part in the programme, and volunteering thousands of hours of their time, now is a fantastic time to apply to the Alumni Fellowship Programme and join our growing team of dedicated volunteers.

The programme, which originally started in the Nottingham Business School, was set up to provide a structured way for alumni to volunteer their time and help inspire NTU students.

The programme provides opportunities for alumni to support a variety of different employability focussed activities (both on and off campus), helping students with their personal and professional development. This academic year Alumni Fellows have volunteered a combined total of over 1400 hours of their time and engaged with over 2,500 students.

Applications are now open to attrace Alumni Fellows from all subject areas. We are particularly keen to hear from alumni from the following the Schools of Art and Design; Social Sciences; Architecture, Design and the Built Environment; and Science and Technology.

Kathie Moore, Dean of the School of Social Sciences, said: “The Alumni Fellowship Programme provides transformative experiences for our students, and is a way for our talented alumni to volunteer their time and expertise. In particular, through the Programme, we are looking to enhance the learning experience of our students through activities such as one-to-one mentoring, hearing from alumni at career events, support for placements, help with mock interviews, and writing articles or blog posts to inspire students.”
