NTU shortlisted for three Guardian University Awards
20 March 2017
NTU has been shortlisted in three categories for this year’s Guardian University Awards.
The carbon-neutral Pavilion building at the heart of the Clifton campus is a finalist in the Buildings that Inspire award. This is presented to an outstanding initiative that creates and champions a more sustainable living and working environment in the university and beyond, with a demonstrable and lasting legacy.
Nottingham Law School has been shortlisted in the Student Experience category for its ‘How To’ project. This initiative focuses upon the use of technology to develop and deliver innovative resources designed to address identified gaps in male student progression from year one to two of legal undergraduate studies.
In the Marketing and Communications Campaign category, our submission focuses on our recent recruitment activities in India. These set out to demonstrate quietly and convincingly to Indian students and their families that the UK is a welcoming destination and UKHE a great investment. The project resulted in 56% recruitment growth in 2016 with applications for 2017 up by a further 45%.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Wednesday 29 March.
