Higher and Degree Apprenticeships at NTU
5 April 2017
In April 2017 the way the government funds apprenticeships in England is changing, with the introduction of a new apprenticeship levy, and there will be changes to the funding for apprenticeship training for all employers.
NTU is offering higher and degree apprenticeships which are suited to both small and large enterprises. The degrees are industry-focused and see students working on real projects relevant to their employment.
We have the following routes available:
This apprenticeship includes a combination of work-based learning and business education that leads to both a degree and professional recognition through the award of Chartered Manager status (CMgr MCMI).
Available as a Degree or as Higher apprenticeship, these meet the food and drink industry's need for the provision of higher-level training in food science and technology, helping develop management skills.
This apprenticeship leads to professional recognition with fully chartered membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. The apprentice learns through practical project work and site visits.
Also coming in September 2017 will be Embedded Electronic Systems Design and Development Engineers apprenticeship.
NTU is currently developing new apprenticeships for a variety of sectors and are keen to work with employers to create industry-focused courses. Please get in touch if you are interested in working with us.
