Clifton College 50 year anniversary reunion

9 February 2018

A group of Clifton College alumni recently met up on campus to celebrate 50 years since they started their Education course in 1967.

The former residents of Blocks C21-30 met up on what was a University Open Day, so were able to have a good look around to see how the campus has changed since they were students.

The cohort have managed to keep in touch since graduation – eight of the families have even holidayed together at Woolacombe for the past 40 years! Since retiring, they have also been enjoying an annual golf week in April, and have so far visited Scotland, Wales, Tewkesbury and most recently Farthingstone.

Alumnus Ray Lockey said:“All of us have had very successful careers in Junior or Secondary education and are still appreciative of the excellent training we received all those years ago.”
