Hello everyone,
I'm very pleased to announce that Amerdeep Somal has been named as our Alumna of the Year 2014.
Amerdeep has been recognised as a "force for social justice" in her role as a solicitor and was nominated by Nottingham Law School for her "tireless work to help victims of domestic violence and for people who are treated unfairly due to their race, religion, gender or disability".
I'm immensely proud that yet again we are recognising someone who uses their skills, talents and education not only to enjoy a great professional career but also to help others less fortunate than themselves.
Please join me in congratulating our very worthy recipient of this year’s award. Amerdeep will be presented with her award during a graduation ceremony on Saturday 29 November.
